Garlic Bread
Servings based on loaf size • 10 Minutes • Easy
Garlic bread is a classic Italian side for traditional pastas. A perfect compliment to the savoury flavour, with garlic, butter, and a light crispy taste.
Soft baguette or french bread loaf
1 stick (1lb or 100g) of butter
1.5 tbsp Borrelli Minced Garlic or 3 cloves chopped
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1
Place oven rack to middle setting, preheat to 350°F (175°C).
2
Using a bread knife, cut baguette in half, lengthwise, then cut diagonal slices towards the bottom but not all the way through.
3
In a medium bowl, soften butter in a microwave. Around 10-15 seconds.
4
With a fork, mash minced garlic and parsley into softened butter and mix until even.
5
With a butter knife, spread butter mix onto both halves of bread and in the diagonal cuts.
6
Wrap each half with foil, and place in oven on middle rack. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
7
Remove bread from oven, remove foil, serve fairly quickly before it cools.
